Hi there, 

Enjoy the Summer Edition of the Kolibri Games Newsletter. This is where we review events of the past weeks and keep you updated on recent company and product milestones. 

Company Milestones 

In July we hit our two biggest milestones yet: 100 million downloads and 100 Kolibris. Although this is a great reward for all our hard work over the past years, we are really just getting started – 1 billion downloads, here we come! 

To reach that goal we’re going to need a lot more Kolibri power, so even though fitting everyone in one picture is getting harder and harder, there will be a lot more of us in the future.

We Appeared In

The guys over at Pocketgamer reported not only on our double milestone achievement, but also on our latest and first edition to our management teamRoss Logan joined the Kolibri Games C-Suite as CFO. 

Our Co-CEO Daniel appeared on the Startup Notes podcast and shared insights on how to create hits in the gaming industry.

On top of that, we made our first appearance on German state television in a feature about the success of the games industry.

The Kolibri Games Blog 

100 Kolibris and 100 million downloads – to illustrate what that actually looks like, we put together an infographic containing our most important figures and numbers and shared a map showing the geographical spread of our players.

Additionally, we shed some light on our recruitment process, explaining how to nail your interview with Kolibri Games and how to best prepare for your trial days with us.

Product Updates

The past two months brought some exciting changes to our games. In Idle Miner Tycoon, we introduced our first two event seasons, a whole new continent, the Dusk Continent, and awesome in-mine customization options.

In Idle Factory Tycoon, we added a new factory to the event factory cycle, the Candy Factory, and rolled out the Factory Districts Feature, splitting single factories into districts, thereby increasing the number of factories from six to thirty-six. On top of that, our team added awesome new visuals for progression in each factory, turning lower parts into futuristic workstations.

Kolibri Events 

Hitting two milestones makes for a good reason to celebrate, and so we did! Thank you to everyone who came by our 100 Million Downloads Party, we had a blast! 

What Else Happened? 

A small delegation of Kolibris made their way to Cologne to represent us at this year’s gamescom. Thanks to all of you who came over and had a chat. 

In addition, Kolibris were sporty these past two months. A few of us made use of the great weather and practiced their rollerskating in front of the office during lunch breaks.

Others put their table tennis skills to the test and represented Kolibri Games at a local tournament.
