We are looking for a (Senior) UI/UX Designer to work in our New Games Department. This is an opportunity to join Kolibri Games on its journey to reinvent idle and contribute to the entire lineup of new products. You will work across several new game teams designing screens and flows, prototyping, and playtesting to improve the user experience for Kolibri’s tomorrow’s hits. You will help shape the direction of our new games in an agile and fast-paced environment by developing a deep understanding of our player’s needs and motivations using data, player feedback, and your own expertise.
- Create concepts, prototypes, user flows, and mockups for all new games and new features.
- Validate your ideas quickly (wireframes, user flows, and prototypes as appropriate).
- Work closely and cross-functionally with the product team and all the other teams to improve the user experience for our players.
- Proactively suggest new improvements, considering the product and team impact of implementing these changes.
- Take responsibility for well-designed UI Assets, icons, etc.
- Contribute actively to shaping and improving the processes in the design team.
- Prior experience in the mobile gaming industry in a UX designer role.
- Ability to create wireframes, user flows, clickable prototypes, conducting user tests, paper prototypes etc. to explain the vision and support a cross-functional team.
- Experience in interface design confirmed by your portfolio.
- Good understanding of design and perception principles.
- Good graphic design skills, granting you the ability to create low and high-fidelity mockups.
- Excellent skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma (or any similar tool).
- Great communication skills and prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding self-organization skills and ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
- Experience with relevant mobile games and up-to-date knowledge of the current industry trends.
- Player-centric mindset.
- Basic knowledge of game/human psychology, and game design.
- Prior experience in organising and carrying out usability tests.
- Experience in the creation of UI assets.
